Non-performing loans in Italy will start to decline

Business loans constitute the greatest factor of vulnerability for Italian banks and, despite some recent signs of improvement, the flow of new non-performing business loans has remained well above the historical average. It is projected that in 2016, the new Npl rate among non-financial companies will fall from the current peak of 3.7% to 3%.
