Ceo turnover is one of the most significant moments in the life of a company. The paper analyzes this phenomenon and is based on a sample of non-financial firms listed on the Borsa Italiana and the London Stock Exchange. It focuses on three factors: performance, Ipos and the main differences of Italian and British institutional framework (civil and common law).
