The corporate governance of Italian listed companies is continuing to show in the last period significant changes under the impulse of legislative innovations and market pressure. Data on control model and ownership structure of listed banks show a reduction of the average weight of major shareholders and a rising presence of foreign institutional investors. Over the last years, gender diversity in listed companies has been steadily advancing, with a larger role in listed banks
