Europe is determined to lead the fight against climate threat and foster the transition to a low-carbon, more sustainable, resource-efficient and circular economy, essential to protect environment and society , as well as to ensure the long-term competitiveness of economy. The European Commission has developed a new long-term green finance strategy, on which a consultation will be launched shortly.
