New bad loans are falling in Italy

The rate of new bad loans among non-financial companies will fall significantly in the coming years, from the peak of 3.9% in June 2015 to an estimated 2.3% by the end of 2017. Improvements are expected in all size categories, with a stronger decline for micro-businesses and a reduction in the gap between larger and smaller companies, while the rate of new bad loans will fall below pre-crisis ratios both for Smes and large manufacturing companies
