The Single Rulebook architecture is complex and multidimensional, with a set of rules issued by different authorities, and it could be not effective to support the European Banking Union. Its rigidity is likely also to limit the effectiveness of ECB supervision activity whose functions may be increased with specific regulatory powers in the prudential supervision field
