The article considers the rapid advance of the principles Environmental, Social, Governance at international level and in European financial regulation. The theme of Sustainable finance is deepened with regard to the banking sector (supervision, risk management, organization), the asset management industry, the rising markets of Green bonds and Green Btps, the unfair practice of greenwashing. It is an evolving framework towards greater transparency with European parameters. It then shows how the Esg topic is transversal and shared with Public procurement and with the Real estate market. Finally, the role of Central banks is examined. Conclusions look at leverage points, including the digital transition, for progressive expansion of the Esg galaxy.
