At the end of 2018, ABI, together with professional bodies and public and private associations of valuation companies, have promoted the updating of the Guidelines for the valuation of property guaranteeing credit exposures. The new principles, rules and procedures aim to foster transparency and fairness in the valuation procedures and are updated to take account of the latest development of European, national and international standards.
