Banks, freedom of enterprise and social justice

Banks in Italy do more than their part, out of a sense of responsibility, in a constant fight against all forms of illegality, for solidarity interventions with families and businesses, for natural disasters, for direct and indirect support to social needs and with levels of taxation higher than those due for Article 53 of the Constitution. The banks have faced all kinds of crises, they have applied many reforms in Italy and have made continuous, huge capital reinforcements and reorganizations, more than in other parts of Europe, with the constructive role of the Unions. Simplifications and debureaucratization are essential. New Eu initiatives are needed after the Pnrr. We need to attract investment and reduce the tax burden on long-term savings.
