A solid risk culture is a strategic lever to ensure responsible behaviour, prevent critical situations and strengthen organisational resilience in the long term. European banking supervision has reaffirmed the central role of a healthy risk culture, based on ethical values, exemplary leadership, widespread accountability and consistent incentive mechanisms, also highlighting the need to systematically measure and monitor this culture inside intermediaries. In this framework, training takes on a role that is no longer ancillary, but central. The experience of Banca Mps fits into this context, as a systemic and measurable application of these guidelines.
