The Eu single rulebook, in confirming the principles and obligations of the previous directive, highlights the international dimension of Money laundering and terrorist financing, extends obligations to new entities, strengthens the Risk-based approach, broadens the concept of suspicion, prescribes new alerts on high-value assets, requires awareness of obligations and integrity of employees, provides insights into the beneficial owner, rules for the exchange of information in partnership, prohibits discrimination, adds the virtual Iban, introduces the possibility of using AI, and gives new powers to Fius. The Amla will issue implementing guidelines and technical standards, and the Commission will adopt delegated acts for sanctions.
