Financial skills are becoming increasingly relevant to achieving the level of individual economic well-being and to increase social inclusion. This study offers an in-depth look at financial literacy in Italy, through a national survey on a sample of Italian residents and the analysis of a regional campaign of financial education in Veneto. The results of the survey show an improving level of financial knowledge. 37% of the people interviewed show that they are familiar with financial literacy, but women, young people, citizens of the South and those with a low level of education are still the vulnerable groups on national policies must strive to concentrate their actions.
