Artificial intelligence introduces a dimension of complexity that requires organizations in general and Central banks in particular to reflect in-depth on the ability to govern and manage tools whose use can affect economic and social stability. The «containment problem» highlights the intrinsic difficulty of controlling technologies that evolve faster than institutions. AI should not be seen simply as a technology, but as a catalyst for profound transformations, which requires strategic vision, organizational capacity and operational rigor. The three-line defense model offers a structured, multilayered approach to ensuring responsible use of Ai, balancing innovation and safety, efficiency and control, technological power and public accountability.
