Nfts are a kind of digital guarantee, based on a computer code, which allows to prove the possession of a digital object. With the use of Nfts, the typical mechanism of a physical work of art is reproduced; although everyone can have a copy, only a single subject owns the original. Through this mechanism, the digital art market, which until a few years ago was almost non-existent due to the digital reproducibility of the works and uncertainty about property rights, is rapidly expanding.
