In accordance with part eight of Eu Regulation Crr that introduced the Pillar III disclosure requirements, financial intermediaries must publish, at least once a year, the information to the public. Over the years, the document has been amended in order to define a standard template framework for all financial intermediaries belonging to the Eurosystem. This article reconstructs the status quo of the regulatory system, providing a view on the complexity of ensuring that Pillar III is consistent with all the information produced (Financial statements and Supervisory reports) and with risk management policies adopted by each intermediary.
