Since 2021, to analyze the dynamics shaping business activity, Srm has been carrying out a survey specifically focused on manufacturing firms, with the aim of monitoring the sector's main structural trends against the backdrop of an ever-changing economic and geopolitical environment. Regarding Southern Italy, the survey portrays an entrepreneurial fabric that is showing an increasing capacity to compete globally. It is marked by the presence of dynamic and resilient firms, capable of making significant investments, committed to innovation and the adoption of new technologies, outward-looking in their approach to foreign markets, and increasingly integrated into international supply chains. Their role is pivotal to the economic and productive development of the region.
