Teaching Economic and Financial Education in schools: a priority for Italy

The dissemination of economic and financial knowledge and skills underpins the process of social inclusion. An approach that involves the whole life span of citizens is needed, starting from childhood and school, in which it must be fully integrated, including vocational and post-graduate training, as well as teacher training. Italian banks for years have implemented numerous programs, either by individual banks or by collective initiatives and through FEduF, promoted by ABI, available to schools, adult citizens, the third sector, women and vulnerable groups. With numerous courses, seminars, tools and projects, and collaborating with teachers of both primary and secondary schools.
