The access to client financial data. What are the impacts of the Fida European proposal?

The proposal of the Fida regulation drawn up by the European Commission aims at creating favorable conditions for the innovation process in the Financial Services sector in Europe, in a context in which the circulation and sharing of information and data represent the engine of social and economic relations. However, in view of the many grey areas in the draft, the proposal should be carefully reviewed and amended during the legislative process, in order to adopt a more cautious and gradual approach and to protect the interests of customers. It will be important for the corrections to give a better balance to the proposals, ensuring a level playing field between the various players.
