The Financial Education Month in Italy: trends and perspectives

The paper analyzes the initiatives carried out in Italy for the Financial Education Month from 2018 to today: the data, given the importance assumed over time by the event, can be considered a good approximation of the subjects active in Italy in the Financial Education activities. The work proposes a classification of organisers: public entities and private ones and, among these, for profit or non-profit. The analysis focuses on the types of initiatives carried out, on the recipients reached, on the characteristics of the proponents and the territorial distribution. It also provides a textual analysis of the most frequently covered topics. Finally, some notes are provided on future perspectives and on the recent innovations introduced by the Committee.
