The plan to relaunch the Italian economy contained in the European recovery plan offers a unique opportunity to rethink banking traditional models, supporting long-term growth through investments in Research and Development, for the transition to a digital and green economy. In this context, Italian banks will be able to renew their role of supporting families and businesses, adapting it, and not only in times of pandemic, to new times, new technologies and new needs of society, also in support of the Third Sector and organizations that help the weakest.
