Eye movements can be considered a proxy for visual attention, opening up interesting research avenues for improving the neuro-ergonomics of financial documents. This paper analyzes how the shape and color of documents, gender differences, and anchoring effects influence visual attention, comprehension, and the final evaluation of financial products and services. For each aspect, we present the results of recent research conducted by our team and the implications, including those of a regulatory and supervisory nature.
