The reform process on the relaunch of financial markets for Smes is not over. In fact, the Italian legislator will be called upon – in implementation of the delegation provided for by Article 19 of the Capital Law – to introduce new changes to the primary legislation, in order to facilitate the access of small and medium-sized enterprises to alternative forms of financing and make them more attractive to international investors. On the European regulatory side, the progressive integration of financial markets could represent a stimulus towards new reform interventions in favor of the development of Smes.
