The Space Economy is one of the most advanced frontiers of global technological and industrial transformation. It affects the competitiveness of production systems, the functioning of cities, the security of strategic infrastructures, the management of natural resources and the ability of territories to respond to climate and environmental challenges. The Space industry is a very innovation-intensive sector, characterized by huge investments and complex technological cycles, which require advanced skills, institutional coordination and significant financial resources. Within this scenario, the Italian South is a crucial asset for the growth of the national Space Economy.
