It is the technology that makes it possible to modulate and make products increasingly flexible and adapt them to the changing, diversified and increasingly granular needs of a clientele that has grown up in a digital world and where the increasingly advanced customization of products and services is the rule of the game. In this context, the Chinese wall, regulatory but also technical, operational, and ultimately cultural, which separated the payment industry from the world of retail and consumer credit is destined to fall (if it has not already fallen) in favor of the creation of an articulated ecosystem made up of subjects with different matrix but who will find themselves competing in overlapping business areas.
