The analysis of the recent crisis in the Us and European banking systems merits close attention and is very pertinent, particularly in terms of how it is being approached and the instruments being used by the different authorities. Especially of interest and need to be reflected on are the actual ways regulatory regimes manage banking crises. Some useful policy approaches could emerge from this, particularly for the European framework undergoing revision at the moment. Credit Suisse, Svb, and, somewhat lesser so, Getin Noble, point up important changes in bank and client relations, that in turn change the traditional «bank run» to a digital run on the bank, the bank «click» run.
